What are "Freeform" and "Live" operators
A Live operator is a company that uses Respax Enterprise Edition or Respax Lite for their in-house reservation system. Live, real-time availability is passed to agents via various web interfaces such as TourVoucher. Bookings can be made live and directly into the operator's Respax database. An immediate confirmation and voucher is provided at booking.
A Freeform operator is a company that does not use Respax Enterprise Edition for their in-house reservation system. The agent/tourdesk must first contact the Freeform operator to confirm availability and the booking. Then a voucher can be printed for the customer.
All Live operators are automatically Freeform operators. This allows the agent/tourdesk to create a custom tour, that is not normally available via the standard list of tours. The agent/tourdesk must first contact the operator to confirm availability and the booking. Then a voucher can be printed for the customer.
