Policies

Use this screen to define global and operator/product specific cancellation policies. Click anywhere on a policy line to open it. Each remote Tour Operator also have their own cancellation policies which is checked and applied before these policies.

Description:

The user defined description for the cancellation policy. Same as Name above

Enabled:

Indicates if the policy is active/applied or not

Within Hrs:

Indicates within how many hours from the start time of the tour, the policy is active

Block Cancellation:

Prevents the Tourdesk user to cancel the booking if the current time is within the Within Hrs: in the line above

Penalty(%)

The percentage of the sell price that must be paid as penalty when cancelling

Host ID (Optional):

Applies the policy to the specified operator only

Product ID (Optional):

Applies the policy to the specified tour only

Notice:

The notice displayed to the user when a cancellation is made

Save/Exit

Saves any changes and returns to the Policies screen

Cancel

Discards any changes and returns to the Policies screen

Delete

Deletes the selected policy

Return to My Company Index
