Setting Up the Package
Index
Overview
In the previous tutorial, all the components required to enable the Open Water 4 Day 1 Night Learn to Dive package were created and configured. This tutorial will cover connecting all these components to the top level package and connecting previously existing bus routes to the components.
Please Note: This tutorial uses components, package structures and bus routes that were created in previous tutorials. For more information, please refer:
Connecting TUTBUS - Bus Route
When enabling a bus route in a tour package, bus routes need to be connected to both the top level package and the components. When making a booking, reservationists would choose the bus route on the top level package and the components will have a pickup location named Same As Parent. Same As Parent means that the pickup location is the same as the top level package's location.
TUTBUS (Bus Route) currently does not have a pickup location named Same As Parent so it will need to be added.
Open TUTBUS in Maintenance -> Edit/Add Tours and click on Pickups...
Click Add New...
Type Same As Parent in the Location Name field...
Click Save, close the Locations screen and Save the bus route.
Now that Same As Parent is a pickup location, TUTBUS can be connected to the components and the top level package.
The bus route structure is as follows:
OW4D1N - Top Level Package
- TUTBUS - 09:00am
CLASS - Component
- TUTBUS - 09:00am
VESSEL - Component
- TUTBUS - 09:00am
TUTACCOM - Component
Edit CLASS in Maintenance -> Edit/Add Tours -> CLASS - Pool & Theory Class. Click on Routes...
Drag TUTBUS - (09:00) to Pickup...
Click Save Changes and Save the tour...
Repeat the same steps with:
OW4D1N
VESSEL
