A report prints/previews incorrectly as portrait/landscape - how to fix it?

Index

Overview

Depending on which printer or which driver is being used by a client, not all reports will view/print/export by default in the correct orientation. This is not something that we can control, because it depends on the printer settings of the client. The page orientation can easily be changed as described below.

How to set the page layout

In the "Reports" section, click on "Printer Setup"

Select the printer that is set as your default (the one with the tick on it) - if the wrong printer is set as you default, right click on the correct one and select default. Click on "Preferences"

The next screen will look different for every single printer. Find the page orientation section and select the required orientation. Click on "OK" or what ever is the appropriate button on the screen.

Click on "Print" - this will not actually print the report, but just saves the setting for this session of Respax.

Continue with your normal procedure for printing, viewing or exporting the report.
