Overview

In the previous tutorial, all the components required to enable the Open Water 4 Day 1 Night Learn to Dive package were created and configured. • This tutorial adds components to OW4D1N Open Water 4 Day 1 Night Learn to Dive

Please Note: This tutorial uses components, package structures and bus routes that were created in previous tutorials. For more information, please refer:

Adding Bus Pickups to Tours

One Pickup per Package:

• If the passengers are collected ONCE for the whole package, then the bus pickups can be on a bus route associated to OW4D1N

Multiple Pickups per Package:

• If the passengers are collected MORE than once for the whole package, then bus pickups may need to be added to the package (OW4D1N) and the component tours which need pickups

  • If these pickup locations are the same as the first one on OW4D1N, but just on different dates, the the “Same as Parent Pickup” set up can be used where parent is OW4D1N

  • If the pickups are different from the first one on OW4D1N, then each component tour which requires a pickup needs to have the appropriate bus route associated

This example will show you how to do Multiple Pickups per Package

These are the bus pickup routes that go with each tour:

Open OW4D1N in Maintenance -> Edit/Add Tours

Click on Routes

Drag the TUTBUS – (09:00) Route to Pickup

Click on the General tab and click on Save Changes

Repeat the same steps with

Adding Same as Parent Pickups

To prevent adding three pickups to this tour (OW4D1N) when it is booked, the Same as Parent logic can be added so only one pickup needs to be chosen on the package header.

This is the setup required for this to work

The TUTBUS bus route has already been added to OW4D1N, CLASS, VESSEL.

Does SAPP already exist? Search for the tour code SAP

Yes

• Associate the SAPP bus route to CLASS and VESSEL following the steps above

No

• Make a new route which looks EXACTLY like the below example

• The Tour code MUST be SAPP

• The tour name MUST be Same as Parent Pickup

Click on the Advanced tab, make sure that Disable Availability Check, Component Only and Use New Price Matrix are checked ON.

Click on Routes, New Stop

• Stop Description = Stop 1

• Pickup Increment (Minutes) = 0

• Dropoff Increment (Minutes) = 0

Click on Edit Locations and Add New

Create a new location called Same As Parent Pickup

Drag the Same as Parent Pickup location to Stop 1. Close the tour.

Find the tour CLASS and open it

Click on Routes

Drag the SAPP – (00:00) Route to Pickups

Click on the General tab and click on Save Changes

Repeat this step with the VESSEL tour code.

Creating the Package

When an OW4D1N tour code is booked, respax needs to ALSO load the CLASS and VESSEL tours. This is called a package, and this means that OW4D1N needs a package SET

Open the tour OW4D1N

Click on Components. ResPax will automatically create a new package set when first entering the Components section. Click on the line in the list.

And the bottom half of the screen will open out

Click Add Tour and enter the details as pictured below

To select the Default Pickup, click on F2 and select Same As Parent Pickup

Click on Save

Add the following tours:

For the Accommodation, ensure Add Accommodation is clicked rather than Add Tour

Once finished, this is what it looks like:

This package is now ready to be booked
