Search for Bookings

Index

Overview

The search screen provides the reservationist the means to find the booking of a specific customer based on various search criteria. In this how to we will search for John Smith, the customer we booked in the previous how to make your first booking.

Search by confirmation number

If the reservationist has the confirmation for the booking, it can be entered in the Cfm No: field of the Search screen. In our example Mr John Smith's confirmation number was 10003.

Click on Search and the booking is displayed.

Double click on the booking to open for editing.

Search by name

If the reservationist has the name or partial name for the booking, it can be entered in the Pax Name: field of the Search screen.

Wildcards are allowed. In this example the % before smith returns all pax names containing smith.

If the like box is ticked, the spelling of the name entered becomes case insensitive.

If the Components box is ticked, all the components (if any) in the booking, will also be listed.

The booking screen will open by double clicking on any line.
The same principle follows for the other fields. See Searching for Bookings in the user references for more detail.
