Welcome To ResPax

Welcome to the ResPax reservation system. This tutorial will show you how to get your experience with the system started and where all the basics menus are so that you start to become familiar with our interface.


Getting Started with ResPax

The ResPax system is a multi-user application and is secured with UserIDs and Passwords. You can set up as many as you like.

First thing to do is login to ResPax. Enter your UserID...

and then your Password...

Now that you have successfully logged in you will see the main interface screen where ResPax uses an icon based menu bar group which is split into four different sections. Reservations, Maintenance, Reports and Utilities.


Reservations Menu

The Reservations menu is comprised of several different icons which are as follow...

Search... which allows you to search for previously made bookings.

New Booking... which allows you to create new bookings.

Availability... which allows you to check the available seats in each tour.

Diary... which shows all the actions and tasks that have been assigned to the Diary.


Maintenance Menu

The Maintenance menu is comprised of several different icons that help you set up your tours, users and organisations to create and maintain bookings.

Edit/Add Tours... which helps you create and edit the tour products and resources.

Edit/Add Organisations...which creates and edits agents, operators and financial entities.

Edit/Add People...which creates and edits the different users, agents, passengers and crew that go through the system.

Lookups...which creates,edits and maintains the many different sections of lookup lists that are used throughout ResPax.

Settings...which shows and allows you to change the main settings that define your company, ie. Licences, Company Details, Message Templates,etc.

Allotment Manager... This feature has a tutorial that can guide you through using it.

Commission Wizard...This feature has a tutorial that can guide you through using it.

Copy Price Tool...This feature has a tutorial that can guide you through using it.

CCard Charges...Use this screen to display credit card transactions of various states (approved, declined, dubious) for user specified date periods.


Reports Menu

ResPax utilises all of it's reports through one menu, All Reports, that shows all the available reports that you can print.


Accounts Menu

ResPax has the Financial Archive under the Accounts menu, which shows all of the financial transactions that have, have not and need to be processed.
