Overview
The Availability screen allows users to a number of different figures to do with availability on tours that have been set to show availability. This tutorial will show the different options that users are able to use in the screen.
Level of Detail
To get to the Availability screen, go to Reservations -> Availability...
Different types of availability options are available to be shown. The options are as follows:
- Show Booked - Shows the number of passengers already booked on the tour
- Show Allotments - Shows the amount of passengers set aside to allotments
- Show Available - Shows the current amount of passengers able to be booked
- Show Maximum Number - Shows the maximum amount of passengers able to be booked
- Show Infants - Shows the number of infants already booked on the tour
- Show User Defined Pax - Shows the user defined passenger set to this tour if any (ie.FCh)
Searching for Availability
To search for availability on different days, select the Start Date and under Days select how days the availability will show for...
If a specific tour code needs to be filtered so that it is the only showing code, type the name in Tour Codes. Please Note: This is a free type field so tour codes need to be filled out correctly...
When all the criteria is set, click Refresh...
And ResPax will return the results.
Setting Availability
In the Availability screen, users can set availability for any tour code through the Set Availability button...
Specify the Tour Code that availability is to be set for...
Click Set Range and fill in the fields to set the availability...
