Web Enabling Tours

Index

Overview

This section shows you how to web-enable your tours to make them visible on your website, on the Respax Operator Network and in Respax Tourdesk.

You typically use the Respax for windows Tour Maintenance section to web enable basis and subbasis as well as adding tour content and images.

Web Enabling a Tour

First find the Tourcode you are looking for by going to the Maintenance Section, click on Add/Edit Tours and select the tour you want to web enable. The following image shows the Tour maintenance screen.

Make sure that the tourcode is Web-enabled by clicking in the checkbox as show in the picture above.

Click on Edit Webpage to manage in more detail...

The Web details form opens allowing you to upload detailed descriptions, web tour name and comments.

Click on the image tab

In the above tab, you will be able to upload 3 basic images representing the tour. These images are visible in the information links of your website for this tourcode.

These images are also available on the Respax Operator Network.

Important Note: None of the images should ever have to be more than 30kb. Any bigger and the info webpage is slow to use for your clients.

Large Image

recommended size 180x240

Include Image

recommended size 80x80

Small image normally shows in the top-left off the web info pages and large image in the middle-right section.

Click on Web Basis...

The above basis tab enables you to decide which basis and subbasis are visible on your website. The basis and subbasis controls what shows in the price matrix.

Save and Exit this page and web details are now visible on the info page off your Respax Web interface and the data is available on the Respax Operator Network.

Below is an example of a info page on a example website.

Web Enabling or Disabling a Basis in a Tour

Goto Maintenance -> Tourcode

Make sure that the tourcode is Web-enabled by clicking in the checkbox as show in the picture above.

Click on -> Bases

In this example Double should be web disabled. Click on Double

Un-tick Web Enabled. The basis Double and all sub basis are now web disabled.

If only a specific sub-basis should be web disabled, leave the tick ON for the basis and click on the sub basis. Un-tick Web Enabled

Obviously if a basis and sub basis should be web enabled, all Web Enable boxes should be ticked.
