Using Agent Ref

Overview
The 2nd field when making a booking is the Agent Ref.
This can be
Manually typed into
A user can be selected from the list of users assigned to the agent.
Maintenance - Edit/Add People
The list is made up of users assigned to the Agent Code used in the booking. The User can be:
1) An actual consultant at the Agent
- Bob Smith (Consultant)
2) A generic user like a branch of the Agent.
- Essex Street Branch (Agency)
3) The originating agent where the Agent is an Inbounder.
- Kuoni Travel Agent (Originating Agent)
Create the user as usual, then click on Login Details to associate this user to the agency.
Click on the orange button next to Def Agent
This will bring up the Agent Lookup List
As always, start typing in the lookup field, and the list will reduce accordingly
This is then saved as that user's default agent.
Bookings
So, making a booking with the Agent, will allow you to access the users which are associated to the Agent
Hit the orange button next to Ref to access the lookup
In this example, all users which have DEMO as their Default Agent will appear in the list.
Double click to select a user from the list.
and continue with the booking to commit.
Once committed, you can access the report information.
Reports
The Performance & Productivity section has a standard report called ztd – Revenue Sales (Excel). This report is designed to export to Excel.
It can be previewed in pdf format, but the columns are not really readable as it is designed to export to excel.
So hit the Export Report button
The default format is Acrobat Format (PDF).
Select an Excel Format from the drop down list
and save to a place you can access
This shows the data more clearly
So, you can see on this report, the Ref refers to the Agent Ref field in the booking.
From this report, you can pick and choose the data you require.
