Using Diary Notes

Overview
This HowTo document will show the basics and uses of Diary Notes. It will also show the different ways to get at information regarding the diary.
In A Booking
1. Diary Notes
- Diary Notes are useful for private comments on a reservation. These may be contact details for the customer, information relevant to staff whilst the customer is travelling or a log of events which happened to the booking and/or customer.
- For information which is relevant to a particular customer, these notes can be accessed via the reservation by clicking on the Diary button at the bottom of the reservation screen.
- For information which is relevant to an organisation, you can access these via the maintenance menu, and edit/add organisations.
2. Diary Actions...
- Diary Actions enhance on the diary notes by being able to allocate the notes to a particular person or group of people to action. By putting a tick in the "Action" tickbox, lower half of the Diary Notes screen is activated. A date can be put against a diary note which sets the date to be actioned by. A user can also be assigned to the diary note which is then available in the Diary menu.
3. Reminders...
- Activate the reminder section to set a reminder which will either email, send a pop-up note or sms to the person (or people) to which the note is assigned to.
Diary Icon...
1. General
Diary Actions & Notes are easily accessed via the Diary icon on the Reservations menu.
2. Diary Actions
- View outstanding Diary Actions (Only those which are NOT completed will display).
3. Diary Notes
- View all Diary Notes - sorted.
4. TaskMaster
Access the Activity, Schedule & Utilisation of the respax TaskMaster.
