Ticket Printing For Reservations

Overview
This HowTo document is designed to show you how to print tickets from reservations. Please note there may be some variances (ie. Printer Names, etc).
Print Ticket Immediately After Commit
- Click on Print Confirmation On Commit when committing the booking to access the Confirmation Screen...
- Click on Tickets to access the Ticket Print Screen
- Click on the + at the left side of the ticket information to view the ticketable items in the ticket
- Edit the Tickets To Print if not printing all the tickets at the same time
- Click on Preview Ticket to view the ticket and confirm the items on the ticket – note that the number of pages in the report will be the number of tickets that go to the printer. Step through the report pages using the right chevron to check all the tickets if there is more than one.
- Click on the printer icon to print to the selected printer and click OK to print
- To print immediately without previewing, from the Print Tickets screen...
- Click on Print Selected which will bring up the print dialog screen with the ticket printer preselected
- Choose a different printer if the auto-selected ticket printer is not available, then click on Print, or just click on Print to print to the auto-selected printer. This will print the ticket and return to the Confirmation Screen.
While printing a dialog box will flash onto the screen for each ticket type being printed. This happens too quickly to be captured on the screen to show in this document.
- Multiple tickets under one booking preview by ticket type as two separate reports and would need to be printed from each of the preview windows if previewed before printing
- Alternatively click on Print ALL in the Print Tickets screen to directly print all the tickets in the list immediately
Print Single Ticket From The Search List View
- Search for ‘check-in’ tickets to view exclusively in the screen
- Selecting the Tickets Only box in the Search criteria will restrict the list to tickets only
- Right-click on the ticket in the listview to be ticketed and select Print - Ticket - This Booking
.. which will open the Print Tickets screen from where the procedures are the same as Section 1 – Print Ticket Immediately After Commit.
Print Multiple Tickets From The Search List View
- Search for ‘check-in’ tickets to view exclusively in the screen
- Selecting the Tickets Only box in the Search criteria will restrict the list to tickets only
- Highlight multiple tickets to be printed at the same time. Click on the first ticket then use Shift and Left-Click to select a block of tickets ..
.. OR use Ctrl and Left-Click to select individual tickets down the list...
- Right-click on one of the highlighted tickets in the selection in the listview to be ticketed and select Print - Ticket - All Selected Tickets
.. which will bring up the Print Dialog Box with the auto-selected ticket printer preselected ready to print
- Choose a different printer if the auto-selected ticket printer is not available, then click on Print, or just click on Print to print to the auto-selected printer.

Print Tickets From The Report Screen
- Open the Report Screen - Operations - Ticket and enter the criteria of the ticket required for printing.
Important note: This report uses the Ticket confirmation number and NOT the booking number to find the appropriate ticket for printing. See the search list view for the example provided in the list view behind the report screen. Booking is 75234 but the two tickets are 75241 and 75246.
- Click Preview to view the ticket detail before printing
- Click on the printer icon to print the ticket directly to the auto-selected ticket printer

- Alternatively, to print directly to the auto-selected ticket printer without previewing click on the Print button in the Report Screen

- To change the printer because the auto-selected ticket printer is unavailable click on the Printer Setup button in the Report Screen

- Select the required printer from the list, Right-Click on the selected printer and set the chosen printer to be the default printer .. and click Print which will close the dialog box and return to the Report Screen.

To print the ticket using the changed printer setting the Ticket MUST BE PREVIEWED BEFORE PRINT ..
