Index
Overview
This "how to" demonstrates how to save/export a report to a local PC and print from the local PC. It is the same procedure explained in Mapping Network Drives with the added step of printing the report.
Remote Desktop Connection - Windows XP service pack 2
If you have an icon
Right Click on it, to access a menu similar to this
Choose Edit
This will bring up the Remote Desktop Connection Options
Click on the tab Local Resources
Tick the Disk Drives checkbox to connect your machine to the remote computer.
Hit Connect
You will get a security message which reminds you that you are making a connection between your local machine and the remote one, which, as microsoft advises, “this may be potentially unsafe”
It is not recommended to connect disk drives on each login, only when they are necessary.
