Setting Up Tour Filters

Overview

When setting up the product catalog for users to start booking tours, a company can remove certain tours, operators and regions from being able to be selected and booked.

With some operators having more than 200 tours available to be sold or an entire region which will not be sold or booked by the company, the Tour Filter can completely remove them from the list so that they cannot be viewed, queried or booked.


Adding Individual Tour Filters

To access the Tour Filters section, click on My Company in the main menu and go to the Tour Filters tab...

Click Add New


Type in a Description...

Select the operator through the Host ID and type in the tour code in the Host Product ID field...


Please Note: If the Host Product ID field is left blank, the entire Operator will be filtered from the product catalog.

The Region field can be filled to filter out entire region's. This feature is not being used on the current filter. The Filter Priority is which priority each filter takes over another...

Click Save/Exit


Adding Tour Filters in Bulk

To access the Tour Filters section, click on My Company in the main menu and go to the Tour Filters tab...

Click Bulk Add New

Select the operator in the drop box...

Select the tours via the check box located next to each name...

Click Filter Out Selected Products and TourDesk will create pre-filled tour filters...


Deleting a Tour Filter

To access the Tour Filters section, click on My Company in the main menu and go to the Tour Filters tab...

Click on the product to edit the filter...

Click Delete and TourDesk will remove the filter and allow the product to be shown on the Product Catalog...
