Create Sector Pickup Lists
Click on the Maintenance Tab
Click on the Edit/Add Tours icon.
Confirm that the Bus Sector code (BUSCAIS) is not already in use
Click on New Route icon.
Type in the Code and Name for the bus route.
In Operator, select the tour operator who operates this sector.
Usually this is the same as the financial owner, but may be an outside bus operator.
In Fin Owner, check that the Financial Owner is Hop-on Hop-off.
This should be the default.
In this example no other financial entity exists for Hop-on Hop-off so there is only once choice.
Set the Price Matrix Type.
This will be Pax Only for the bus sectors.
Bus sectors do not need to generate supplier invoices relating to costs set up in the price matrix.
Click on the Schedule button at the bottom of the maintenance screen.
Add the new schedule time and make it the default.
For Hoho the Bus Sector time MUST match the Hoho Sector Time
Click on the Advanced tab to set:
UNTICK Use New Price Matrix
The New Price Matrix is irrelevant on bus routes since the pricing is Pax Only
TICK Disable Availability Check
The Availability will be set using Rostering on the Hoho sector
Click on the Route Areas button
to open the Bus Route Configuration window.
Create a New Stop by clicking the button.
Label stops in numerical order (e.g. STOP 1)
A stop represents a pickup TIME so each pickup time needs a new stop.
The pickup time is indicated by the Pickup Increment field and this is the number of minutes after the route start time
Click Save Changes to exit each stop.
Once all the Stops (Pickup times) are stored it is time to add the pickup locations against each pickup time
If there are no Locations created yet, click Create Pickup Locations to add
click, drag and drop pickup locations from the right hand column, (using the search field to quickly find locations), to the relevant stop label.
Once all relevant pickup locations have been placed under the appropriate stop,
Right click the location to open the Pickup Location Details, and add a sequence number (in gradients of 10) to maintain the order of the locations under each stop.
Click Save Changes to exit.
Click Done when all pickups have been entered.
Finally, click Save to exit back into the Edit/Add Tours window.
Create Pickup Locations
There are 2 places where pickup locations can be added
The Route Areas button on a bus route,
then Edit Locations
The Pickups button on a bus route
Type into the Search box to find a pickup location
Click Add New if required pickup location is not listed.
In the Edit Location window add name of pickup, and address if desired or known, and then Save to exit.
Close Locations window with the ”X” in the right corner of the active window.
