Getting started with Respax
Respax is a in-house tour reservation system that lets you manage your business from taking the bookings from your website or call-centre to the end of the line where the bookings are exported into your accounting system. Respax assists you all along to assure that your bookings are accurate and that you don't overbook. The idea is that a newly employed, junior reservation staff can take a booking as accurately as a senior staff and almost as quickly.
How well Respax works for your business is entirely dependant on how much time and effort you put into setting up the tours and organisations initially. All prices, availabilitys and package setups stems from the initial setup of a tour or package.
Do the tutorials, check out Howtos and make a plan
We recommend that you go through a couple of tutorial steps first before you start making a plan of how to apply Respax into your business. You have 2 databases available to you, Training And Live databases. Work in the Training database initially and keep the Live database clean until you have a good understanding of how Respax work and you have a plan on how you are going to apply your business into Respax.
Start with going through the generic tutorials to give yourself an overview and orientation of Respax and how to navigate various sections of the software. Once you have completed this, we suggest that you practise further by applying the Howtos that fit your business best into the Training database. Once you are through the howtos, you are ready to create a plan.
